So long New Zealand

As our internet will soon be cut off and yes there are internet cafe's but something tells me our time will be busy these last two days so...its been great 7 months. Talk about a productive time abroad:

• I worked on Fantastic Four and Waterhorse for a good 6 months and completed my contract
  
•  we lived in Miramar in the cutest house, close to both our work places
  
• I learned how to drive stick shift and not one accident!
• Rocky wrote, directed and screened his third short: O negative
  
• Rocky got to work close with Peter Jackson in previs and doing some fun mocap work on set
• Rocky got to dress up as a soldier for a day and play soldiers with his friends while Peter Jackson shot them and a crew of many for a short test
• who knew that Indian food would become our new Mexican food. hey you adapt right!
• chocolate frog cafe: french toast for me and for rocky: big daddy (basically eggs with hollaindaise sauce, bacon bits and bread) then our little walks in the garden there
• our walks at the beach
  
• our pub on cuba street where you could get a yummy ranch breakfast or fish and chips
• comic book store, whitcouls which became our barnes and noble, and the starbucks right next to it CONVENIENT!
• the reading cinema mall place: movie theater, parking garage, indoor pharmacy, rockys fav indian food and whitcouls all in one place ...NICE!
  
• hiking in Lord of the Ring like mountains uh around our home
• driving into the city and back home in like 10 mins.
  
• taking the long route home as we would drive around the beaches chatting or in silence watching the waves and trees
  
• finding out we're PREGNANT and going home to have the baby!
  

Things we will miss a lot:

• good indian food
• Shoc Chocolate - dark chocolate rose flavored OH MY GOD good
• chocolate covered almonds from the store
• rocky will miss Lift (energy drink)
• cafes, beaches, easy living
• weta, our new friends that we've made and hanging out with old friends
  
• reading cinema and cuba street area
• wearing layers
• roundabouts
  

Things we will NOT MISS:

• bikers on the road...hiss!
• the wind and cold
• some of the driving stuff: like who yields to whom and who goes first...ack still sketchy!
• big creepy skinny spiders and fuzzy ones!
• no insullation in the house so its freezing in the morning and night

Hey thats all i can think of so thats cool. Its been a great time and adventure out here. The new people we've met have been great and old friends from Kong days have been wonderful.
